Committed to community betterment
Whistler eStays supports a wide range of community initiatives through donations, sponsorships, and employee volunteer activities and is active in the Whistler Blackcomb resort community and in communities where our employees live and work.
Whistler eStays’ employees are also encouraged to volunteer in the community through a variety of internal and external promotions and programs.
Whistler eStays is proud to actively support:
Vacation Rental Managers Association
Whistler eStays is a member-in-good-standing of the Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA) a professional trade association for the short-term/vacation property management industry. Membership in the association is limited to professional property management companies and their suppliers and associates. Membership in VRMA indicates that the vacation rental company aspires to a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice and continues to learn the latest trends and developments in the industry. Consumers regard the VRMA logo as an indication of the professional management of vacation rental properties.
The employees of VRMA member companies maintain and enhance their property management skills by attending VRMA educational seminars and conferences each year; reviewing VRMA research; reading the VRMA newsletter, VRMA Review; and networking with other VRMA member company employees. This allows the employees and management of VRMA member companies to provide the best housing options to the public with a high degree of customer service.
The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police
Whistler eStays is an active corporate supporter of the CACP, the association dedicated to the support and promotion of efficient law enforcement and to the protection and security of the people of Canada. Much of the work in pursuit of these goals is done through the activities and special projects of a number of committees and through active liaison with various levels of government and departmental ministries having legislative and executive responsibility in law and policing.
The Canadian Cancer Society
On April 23, 2002, Whistler eStays’ parent company received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Canadian Cancer Society, the national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life for people living with cancer. Whistler eStays is a proud sponsor of the Canadian Cancer Society, which provides leading financial support for cancer research and delivers community-based support programs and prevention information for all types of cancer.
Whistler eStays is pleased to be associated with these charities and associations and we are proud of our employees’ work in their communities.
