Travel Directions to Whistler Resort
By air

Air travelers will fly into the Whistler area via the Vancouver International Airport. From the airport, there are several ways to get to Whistler, including a 35-minute helijet ride. Other transportation options include shuttles, taxis and car rentals. There is a free shuttle available to help you get around Whistler once you've arrived.
By car
Whistler is connected to the rest of British Columbia by the Sea to Sky highway (Highway 99), a beautiful scenic highway. Care should be taken when driving, especially in Winter conditions. At the current time, the Sea to Sky Highway is undergoing major upgrades, particularly between Squamish and Vancouver. Typical driving time from Vancouver is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
By bus
Greyhound Canada, 1-800-661-8747, offers coach service from the Vancouver Bus Depot, 1150 Station Street (at the Via Rail station). Greyhound allows bicycles unboxed on this route. A bus ride generally takes 2-2.5 hours each way.
Pacific Coach Lines, 1-800-661-1725,. Runs direct from airport to Whistler with their YVR-Whistler SkyLynx service. There are numerous scheduled departures in either direction.
Snowbus, 604-331-7850 Stops in Richmond, Vancouver and Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver. Provides movies as in-bus entertainment.
By taxi
Whistler Resort Cabs, 604-938-1515, provides taxi service from Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport to Whistler.
By Shuttle

By Limo
If a number of people are travelling together it is possible to go by Limo for $350-400 with room for between 6 and 10 people.
By plane
The nearest major airport is in Vancouver. From there, you can rent a car, take a bus or book one of the Whistler shuttles. Tickets for Snowbus (Tourism BC Visitor Center) and PCL (SkyLynx counter) can be purchased in the arrivals terminal.

By train
Whistler Mountaineer, Once daily train service between North Vancouver and Whistler between May and October. Not your fastest option as the train travels slow so passengers can take in the view, but possibly the most relaxing and scenic.
Directions from Vancouver Airport
The drive from Vancouver airport to Whistler takes approximately two hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Travel distance is about 115 km.
Directions from Seattle
Whistler is about a 4-5 hour drive away from Seattle. Travel distance is approximately 340 km.
